Composition is probably too grand a word to describe the process by which these tunes come to me: they’re more like ghosts at the edges of the candle light as I play, and sometimes I manage to catch one. Recently, some of my tunes have been recorded by Heathen Creek on their album, 24 hours, and others have been published by Randy Miller in his book  The Fiddler's Throne. I also compose songs in the Shape-Note tradition, a number of which are below along with a selection of dance tunes.
